General Model Information:
Nissan Maxima
In terms of finding a late-model used Nissan axima, you'll likely encounter the sixth-generation model that spanned 2004-'08. This Maxima was longer, wider and more powerful than earlier models, though it struggled to stand out against the competition.
Two trim levels were offered during this generation: SE and SL. With a slightly stiffer suspension, the SE was designed to be the sportier of the two. Standard features on this trim included 18-inch wheels, an eight-speaker CD stereo, keyless entry, and one-touch up-down front windows. The more luxury-oriented SL offered 17-inch wheels, softer tuning, wood interior trim, heated leather seats, HID headlights and a 320-watt Bose audio system.

Nissan Altima
The current- (fourth) generation Altima debuted in 2007, with the Coupe following in 2008. In the time since, the Altima line has seen only minor changes to standard and optional feature structures.
The current- and third-generation used Nissan Altimas are the most desirable from a shopper's perspective. The 2002-'06 model was about 6 inches longer and had a new suspension and stronger body compared to the previous car. At the time, it was one of the most powerful family sedans available, as it came with either a 175-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or a 240-hp 3.5-liter V6. All models were offered with either a manual or automatic transmission.
Nissan 350z
The 350Z sports car bowed in 2003 as an all-new model. The first year there was only a coupe, as the roadster did not become available until 2004. Initially, the coupe came in base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track versions, while the roadster was limited to Enthusiast and Touring trim levels. The Track trim came with lightweight wheels and Brembo brakes, but its suspension tuning was the same as all other coupes
Nissan Murano
The first-generation Nissan Murano was produced from 2003-'07. (The Murano was on hiatus for the 2008 model year.) At the time, its combination of an SUV-like high driving position and ample cargo room along with sedan-like handling and acceleration was virtually unprecedented. Today, the market is saturated with such vehicles, which have become known as "crossovers." In other words, the first Murano was a trendsetter in its day.
Nissan Rogue
The Rogue debuted for the 2008 model year and has not significantly changed since.
The Nissan Rogue is based on the same platform as the Sentra. This is beneficial in terms of ride quality, as the vehicle's long-travel suspension is able to soak up bumps and road imperfections easily. A used Nissan Rogue is also stable and quiet at speed, though ultimate cornering limits are predictably modest. The electric power-assisted steering rack is commendably responsive, though like most electric setups, it's a bit numb. Nevertheless, the Nissan's contoured, small-diameter steering wheel and full center console with integrated shifter beget a sporty, cockpit-like feel. Wheel-mounted manual shift paddles on certain Rogue models reinforce this theme.
